Lil' sister has had two loose teeth since March. Yesterday morning she showed me that the one was really loose. I tried bribing her with a snack if she pulled it, but she wasn't having it. All day long, no deal.
Later last night I had to take Makenna to her piano recital and Farmer wasn't coming with us so he volunteered to keep Marah in the planter with him. When I came back to the field (about two hours total) she had pulled her loose tooth and the other front tooth came with it! They were both stuck and holding on for dear life together, so if one was going, they both were : ) She was so happy with herself and was sure the tooth fairy would "double her money" for two teeth.
It just so happens that when Farmer was about 9 years old, he and his grandpa were harvesting in the field together. Grandpa in the combine, Farmer in the augar wagon. It had gotten dark and Farmer was scared of the dark when he was little, so he did the only thing he could to keep himself busy. He wiggled four teeth out of his little mouth that night while he waited for Grandpa to come thru the field. His grandpa and dad still tease him about it to this day. Apparently pulling teeth in farm machinery is genetic.
